The Unique Sounds of Alpine Ropeways

In 2020, Swiss composer and music researcher Michel Roth began collecting sounds from ropeways. Especially at night, the ropes tend to "sing" even when they are not in operation. These sounds range between techno, experimental music and deep listening and can be used both artistically and scientifically.
